Qualified and Caring Staff
The brightest lights at Little Lights are our teachers and staff, and we’re committed to learning opportunities and development for them as well for your child. That commitment means our teachers can work with each individual child to recognize their unique needs and interests and to spark a lifelong love for learning.
Our team is committed to creating a loving and nurturing environment and maintaining clear, consistent communication with families.
Each of our LLCC staff are screened to ensure that your child will be around trained, caring, loving, and responsible individuals. All teachers and substitutes undergo fingerprinting and criminal background checks through both the State Police and Social Services.
Staff members receive CPR First Aid training and certification and are required to attend various workshops and training every year for personal and professional enrichment.
Lead preschool teachers have or are currently pursuing one of the following:
- An endorsement or bachelor’s degree in a child-related field from a college or university
- Either a one year early childhood certificate or a child development credential
Other staff must have between 12-24 hours of course training, depending on their position.

Our large, modern playground has areas devoted to different developmental stages: toddler – 2 year old, and preschool – school-age, so there’s a “right fit” play environment for every child to explore and enjoy.
